Steve is a busy session musician, recording library sessions as well as CDs, film and TV – some of the larger projects have been the films The Golden Compass and Mamma Mia, the ITV series Poirot and Marple - and for the BBC, Oliver Twist.

He has made numerous recordings (including around 65 complete musicals for TER Records with the National Symphony Orchestra). The biggest selling CD that Steve has played on is probably the original cast recording of Phantom of the Opera which went platinum in a week!

Recent projects included recording the incidental music for the National Theatre production of the J.B.Priestley play Time and the Conways for the composer Adam Cork, a CD of English Light Classics for the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, recorded at Abbey Road, and the children's CD Bush Tales at Angel Studios.
